Crooked teeth can lead to much bigger problems over time, such as periodontal disease, trauma, general wear, and even premature tooth loss. As an adult, correcting the problem with metal braces is not aesthetically appealing. Fortunately, at Bright Young Smiles in Lighthouse Point, FL there is another option: Invisalign.

Invisalign uses a series of clear aligners that are custom-made to gradually and gently shift your teeth into place.

Straightening your teeth is now easier than ever and accessible to both teenagers and adults! Crooked teeth can cause long-term dental issues, so you can benefit from straighter teeth in more than just a cosmetic way.

Unfortunately, not all aligner brands and providers are created equal. A well-known Invisalign competitor offers a do-it-yourself approach to orthodontic treatment. This is not only risky but can be downright dangerous!

Factors that must be assessed by Dr. Jared Young before beginning any orthodontic treatment are the condition of the teeth and supporting bone. Trying to move teeth when there is a broken foundation can lead to dental disaster.

Without professional supervision, aligner therapies can result in tooth loss, pain, and worsening hidden decay. The competitor companies produce all treatment through a one-size-fits-all computer-generated approach. The problem is everyone's mouth is different, so treatment needs to be personalized according to each individual's needs. Ultimately, many patients end up with a really bad experience that requires correction by a dentist. Allowing computer models to fully handle your treatment is just not reliable.

Using Invisalign's advanced software combined with our detailed and comprehensive knowledge, we plan each tooth movement strategically and individually before your aligners are even made. This ensures highly predictable results, shorter treatment times, and ultimately, better outcomes.

If you are interested in having your teeth straightened by a professional, call us now for a complimentary consultation to see how Invisalign can give you an attractive smile!

Adults and teenagers who prefer a less obvious teeth-straightening solution than traditional orthodontics can be great candidates for Invisalign teeth aligners. Invisalign can be suitable for addressing malocclusion (an overbite, open bite, crossbite, or underbite), a narrow arch, overcrowded or crooked teeth, and uneven spacing between teeth. Resolving such issues might lead to enhanced jaw function, comfort, and eating and speaking abilities – in addition to a more beautifully straight smile. Clear teeth aligners are also easy to remove, permitting Lighthouse Point, FL adults and teenagers to eat the foods they love, play sports, enjoy a special occasion, and brush and floss their teeth without bulky appliances getting in the way. During your treatment consultation at Bright Young Smiles, we will take digital x-rays and provide an evaluation to help determine if Invisalign orthodontics is a suitable option for your needs.

Dr. Young specializes exclusively in Invisalign treatment. With so many different orthodontic and aligner therapies out on the market, it is hard to tell what's best. With Invisalign, your treatment is professionally directed. Whether your dental issue is crowding, spacing, deep bite, or open bite, it can be corrected with Invisalign, the clear alternative.

Dr. Young starts by using the iTero® digital impression scanner for a quick scan of your teeth that takes fewer than five minutes. The iTero system digitally captures the structure of the teeth and gums using the latest optical technology. From there, a 3D representation of your teeth is electronically sent to Align Technology, the manufacturer of Invisalign, who then sends back your digital end result in real time. This provides our patients with the ability to see what their teeth will look like before they start treatment.

Invisalign

I always have a good experience with all the staff being so understanding, accommodating, and attentive to any concern that I have. I came in for a cleaning and have no been using my Invisalign, so was hesitant in addressing that issue to the dental hygienists, but ultimately did, and they were very kind and explained that it is sometimes to be self disciplined, but that they would help me get out track and start another round, and make me reach where I would like to be smile wise. Lovely staff!
